Warsaw Christmas Markets 2026

Warsaw's biggest Christmas fair stands beside the Palace of Culture and Science, with over 100 wooden stalls and a 55-metre Ferris wheel, accessible directly from Centrum metro station. The 2026 edition runs from 20 November to 6 January 2027 with free entry. The Old Town market on Podwale is the oldest, and the Varso Tower market on the 49th floor is a ticketed viewpoint attraction.

    Warsaw residents are glad the fair is back at the Palace of Culture in an impressive form: clean, pleasant, lots of food and handicraft stalls, cards accepted. At weekends crowds and little space to eat; prices medium to high.

    Visitors praise the atmosphere, especially in the evening, the pretty tree, chocolate-covered fruit, roasted chestnuts and products from Lithuania. They criticise high food prices for average quality (some think it is dearer than at the Palace of Culture), crowding, queues for children's attractions and a few dishonest stalls selling "highlander" cheeses.

    Come for the Old Town atmosphere and mulled wine - eat in a restaurant next door.
