Ljubljana Christmas Market 2026 (December in Ljubljana)
Ljubljana's festive fair, December in Ljubljana, is the biggest in Slovenia: wooden huts with gifts, mulled wine and food stretch along the Ljubljanica river through the pedestrian Old Town (28 November - 31 December in 2025), free to enter. The lights are switched on on the last Friday of November at 17:00, with an 18-metre spruce carrying 8 km of lights. A separate Christmas Art Market with more than 50 Slovenian designers and artists runs for a week before Christmas (13-21 December 2025) under cover in the Main Post Office atrium.
