What visitors sayGoogle 4.4 ★ · 1,139 reviews
Many love the atmosphere with bonfires, lights, animated puppets and a good choice of food; children enjoy the carousels and skating. Critics think it gets worse year by year: mostly food, mass-produced goods at inflated prices and poor toilets.
Oslo's big family Christmas market. Come for the atmosphere and activities, not for crafts. If you want handicrafts, choose the Folk Museum or Bærums Verk.

What visitors say
The manor with its animals, park and café gets a lot of praise. About the Christmas market, one visitor complained about paying for a ticket (140 NOK in 2023) to stand in a queue in the courtyard without enough entertainment for the price.
A nice, old-fashioned alternative to the centre for families with children: one weekend with a Christmas workshop and rooms. Come early to avoid queues.
