Christmas Markets in Poland 2026: Dates, Best Cities and Guide
Poland's Christmas markets covered here are in Wroclaw, Gdansk, Warsaw and Krakow. Wroclaw's is Poland's biggest, with over 200 chalets, and runs from 20 November 2026 to 7 January 2027. Gdansk's has about 220 stalls (20 November to 23 December 2026) and Warsaw's, beside the Palace of Culture and Science, runs from 20 November to 6 January 2027. Krakow's has 105 stalls on the Main Square (2025 edition: 28 November to 1 January); entry is free at all four.

- Commercial car parks: Forum Gdańsk (about 1,000 spaces), Jan z Kolna, Okopowa, Rzeźnicka, ECS.
Worth knowing
- Hours: Sun-Thu 12:00-20:00, Fri-Sat 12:00-21:00.
- At weekends trams run more often (about every 10 minutes).
- Proceeds from the mugs support a hospice.

Warsaw residents are glad the fair is back at the Palace of Culture in an impressive form: clean, pleasant, lots of food and handicraft stalls, cards accepted. At weekends crowds and little space to eat; prices medium to high.

Come for the Old Town atmosphere and mulled wine - eat in a restaurant next door.
