Gdansk Christmas Market 2026

The Gdansk Christmas Market is one of the best-known in Europe, with about 220 stalls on Targ Węglowy, Bogusławskiego Street and the Forum Gdańsk courtyard. The 2026 edition runs from 20 November to 23 December with free entry. It is worth planning a whole evening, ideally on a weekday.

    Getting there and parking

    • Trams and buses to the Targ Węglowy or Brama Wyżynna stops.
    • SKM to Gdańsk Śródmieście, through the tunnel towards Forum Gdańsk and along Wały Jagiellońskie to the Upland Gate.
    • Commercial car parks: Forum Gdańsk (about 1,000 spaces), Jan z Kolna, Okopowa, Rzeźnicka, ECS.

    Worth knowing

    • Hours: Sun-Thu 12:00-20:00, Fri-Sat 12:00-21:00.
    • At weekends trams run more often (about every 10 minutes).
    • Proceeds from the mugs support a hospice.
