Christmas markets in Toronto

The Distillery Winter Village is the one everyone means, and it is busy — go on a weekday. Around it: the One of a Kind show at Exhibition Place, Holiday Hills at Stackt, the St. Lawrence Market's outdoor winter market, Harbourfront's Winterfest, and a ring of town markets across the GTA.

    Distillery Winter Village

Toronto's best-known Christmas market, in the Victorian brick lanes of the Distillery District: cabins of vendors, a giant tree, light tunnels and mulled wine. Weekend evenings sell out — go on a weekday.

    ✨ Date night🧒 With kids🎉 With friends

    What's there

    • Cobblestone lanes and Victorian brick warehouses
    • Giant tree lit on opening night
    • Light tunnels and photo spots
    • Santa, carollers, artisan cabins and food

    What visitors sayGoogle 4.4 ★ · 4,266 reviews

The setting wins people over — lights, tree and cobblestones feel magical, and many come back every year. The complaints are the weekend tickets, pricey boutiques and food, and 10–20-minute lines at the gate. Visitors note it's free on weekdays and before the ticketed evening hours.

Toronto's one must-see Christmas market. Go Monday to Thursday or before the evening ticket window and it's free and far calmer; on weekends book your time slot ahead or you'll be sent to the back of the line.
