Frequently asked questions
- Are the word searches really free?
- Yes. Every puzzle and its answer key prints free on US Letter, with no sign-up and no watermark. Press New puzzle for a fresh grid as often as you like.
- Which level suits my child?
- Easy is a 10×10 grid with words across and down only, for early readers. Medium adds diagonals on a 13×13 grid. Hard is 16×16 with words in every direction, even backwards: a proper challenge for adults. The sheet prints on US Letter, the standard paper size in Canada.
- Can I make a word search with my own words?
- Yes. Type at least three words (family names, pets, favourite treats) and a title, and the puzzle builds itself. It works well as a game for a class party, a Sunday school or Christmas dinner.
- Can I use them in a classroom or at a party?
- Yes. They are free for home and classroom use. The Easy puzzle suits kindergarten and early readers, and the Canadian winter and dinner themes are a good fit for a December class party.
