Dublin Loves Christmas at the RDS
Indoor Christmas market at the RDS in Ballsbridge with hundreds of Irish makers and food producers — warm and dry.

- Ice rink and a Spiegeltent with live shows
- Thrill and family rides, pay as you go
- Food and drink stalls
What visitors say
Dubliners on Reddit were harsh about the 2025 edition: marketed as an Irish Christmas market, but with few Irish makers, expensive food and drink and pricey rides; Irish small businesses said stall fees of several thousand euro kept them out.
A big, easy night out with rides and skating — but not the place for Irish crafts.

🧒 With kids🎉 With friendsWhat's there
- Ice rink, big wheel and Santo Panto in Smithfield Square
- Second site at St Patrick's Park with lights, choirs and rides
- Food and mulled-wine stalls
- Free to enter
What visitors say
Locals on Reddit found it cute and better than the old Dublin Castle market, good for a wander and a go on the Ferris wheel — but the food is very expensive (€8 mulled wine, high prices for chips and hot chocolate) and many traders aren't Irish.
Fine for an hour and the big wheel; eat in the pubs and restaurants around Smithfield instead.
