Frequently asked questions
- Are the word searches really free?
- Yes. Every puzzle and its answer key is free to play and print, with no sign-up and no watermark. Press «New puzzle» for a fresh grid as often as you like.
- Will it print properly on A4?
- Yes. The sheet is laid out for A4 paper. Choose «Print or save as PDF» and pick A4 in your printer settings, or save a PDF to print later. The answer key is on its own page.
- Which level should I choose?
- Easy is a 10×10 grid with words running across and down only, good for early readers. Medium adds diagonals on a 13×13 grid. Hard is 16×16 with words in every direction, even backwards, for the grown-ups.
- Can I make a word search with my own words?
- Yes. Type three or more words (family names, pets, favourite things from the Christmas dinner) and a title, and the puzzle builds itself. It's a good game for Christmas Day or the last day of school before the holidays.
