Kris Kindle rules that keep everyone happy
- Agree the spending limit before the draw and stick to it. It is easy for one person to go well over while others keep to the limit.
- Keep it secret until the day. If you need a size or an idea, ask a sibling, a friend or the organiser rather than the person.
- Use the note for the awkward stuff: allergies, no alcohol, no vouchers if your group doesn't like them.
- Decide how gifts are handed over: wrapped with a name on it, left in one spot, or opened together at the party.
- If someone drops out after the draw, the organiser redoes it from the backup link and everyone gets a new link.
