We have few texts for this combination, so we're showing the closest ones.

  • Maligayang Pasko, pamilya! The best place is always around the same Noche Buena table.

    WhatsApp
  • Wishing you a Christmas full of parol lights, kwentuhan and laughter that goes on past midnight. Love you all.

    WhatsApp
  • This year flew by, kaya sobrang excited na akong makasama kayong lahat. Thank you for every call, every hug and every plate we shared. I hope our Noche Buena is peaceful, that we're all healthy, and that the new year brings plenty of good things for the family.

Turn it into a Christmas card

Picture

Made in your browser. Nothing is sent to any server. Print it at 4×6 inches or send it by Messenger, Viber, WhatsApp or email.

Write the card in four lines

Think of one specific thing. The rest can be short. A card with only a name looks like a mass greeting; one personal line changes everything.

  1. 1

    Address the person by name

    “Dear Tita Ana,”

  2. 2

Write something specific from this year

“Thank you for coming all the way to Baguio for Lena's recital. She was so happy.”

  3. 3

    Add one wish

“I hope your Christmas is peaceful and that the trip you've been talking about for years finally happens in 2027.”

  4. 4

    Close warmly

“Lots of love, the Reyes family”

Sign-offs

  • With love,
  • Lots of love,
  • Warm hugs,
  • Sincerely,
  • Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,
  • With warmest holiday wishes,
  • God bless,
  • Yours truly,
  • With appreciation,
  • With all our love,
  • Mano po,
  • From our home to yours,

"With love" or "Lots of love" for family and close friends, "Warm regards" for officemates and neighbors, "Sincerely" or "Happy Holidays" for clients and the boss (Sir/Ma'am), "God bless" for prayerful cards.

How to sign a Christmas card

Families, couples, single parents, pets, teams, new neighbors, ninongs and ninangs, and respectful forms for elders. There is no wrong way, but some sound better than others.

  • Family

    With love, the Reyes family

Or with all the names: "Marco, Bea, Ana and Leo". Adults first, then the kids from oldest to youngest.

  • Couple

    Ana and Marco

The order doesn't matter. With the same surname: "Ana and Marco Lopez" or "The Lopezes".

  • Single parent with kids

Warm hugs, Dorothy, Max and Ella

You're a family. A row of names always looks good.

  • With the pet

Warm hugs, Alex, Sara and our dog Bantay (arf)

The pet goes last. A little paw print next to it always works.

  • Team or company (we)

Sincerely, the team at Studio Araw

With clients, add the name of one person so the card doesn't look like a mass greeting.

  • New neighbors

Ana and Marco, Unit 22, the green door

The unit number helps newcomers remember who you are.

  • For someone grieving

    Thinking of you, Ella

Write simply, without the family photo and without cheerful stock phrases.

  • Ninong/Ninang and inaanak

Love, Ninang Ana and Ninong Marco

Sign with your title so the little one knows who sent the gift. Mano po is for the greeting in person; in writing, "po" and "opo" show respect to elders.

What to write in a Christmas greeting?

What do you write in a Christmas card?

Four things are enough: a greeting with the name, one personal line (a memory, a thank-you, something from that person's year), the wish, and a warm sign-off. The personal line is the one that stays; the rest can be brief. Pick a ready text above and add just that line.

What short Christmas greetings can I send on Messenger, Viber or WhatsApp?

Choose the "Short" length in the generator and tap "WhatsApp": the text opens right in the chat. For Messenger or Viber, tap "Copy" and paste it. Examples: "Maligayang Pasko! Thank you for being you." or "Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!" A name at the start makes the message more personal.

What are original and funny Christmas greetings?

The ones that remember something only the two of you know: an old joke, the over-fried lumpia, last year's Noche Buena. Choose the "Funny" tone and add your line. A true detail beats any ready-made rhyme.

What Christmas greeting should I send my family?

Thank them for something specific (the help, the Noche Buena prep, the days together), say what it means to be at the same table and wish health and harmony. In the "Family" category there are texts from a single short line to a long letter for a card.

How do you say Merry Christmas in Tagalog?

"Maligayang Pasko" is the standard greeting, often with "at Manigong Bagong Taon" (and a prosperous new year). Many Filipinos mix: "Merry Christmas po!" or "Maligayang Pasko sa inyong lahat." Add "po" to show respect to elders and bosses. The texts here mix English and Tagalog the way people really write.

What is a good greeting for Simbang Gabi or Noche Buena?

Around Simbang Gabi and Noche Buena, wishes are said out loud around the table, so a few heartfelt words are enough: health, peace, many more Christmases together. Choose the "Prayerful" or "Warm" tone, keep one sentence and add something about that person.

Officemates, boss, clients and the Christmas party

What Christmas greeting do I send clients and business partners?

Thank them for their trust, say what the partnership meant and wish them a peaceful holiday and a good new year. Address them formally (Sir/Ma'am), sign with a real person's name and not only the company's, and if you close for the holidays, say the date you're back. No advertising in the greeting itself.

What do I wish my boss at Christmas?

Thank them for something specific (trust, guidance, an opportunity) and wish them and their family a happy holiday. Use Sir/Ma'am, keep jokes discreet and don't mention salary, 13th month pay or workload.

What do I write to officemates for the Christmas party or monito-monita?

A few friendly lines: a specific thank-you, a wish for a good rest and your name at the end. For monito-monita gifts, a short card with a hint but no giveaway is half the fun; choose "Funny" or "Warm". If you don't know whether someone celebrates Christmas, choose the "Happy Holidays" tone.

Delicate cases and the card

What do I write to someone who is grieving or struggling?

Don't cheerfully wish them "Merry Christmas". Write that you're thinking of them, that this season can feel heavy, and offer something concrete, such as a visit or a meal. Choose "Someone grieving or struggling" in the generator. A short message is always better than silence.

What should I write to a loved one working abroad as an OFW?

Say you miss them, tell them about home (who cooked what, who asked about them) and name a call time that works across time zones. The "Far away" category has short lines and a long letter, in warm, funny and prayerful tones, and you can send the card as a picture on video call chat.

Can I send a Christmas card on Messenger, Viber, WhatsApp or email?

Yes, many people do. Make the card here, download the image and send it on Messenger, Viber, WhatsApp or email, or share it straight from your phone. Nothing is stored on our servers and the card has no watermark.

Is the card free, and do I need to sign up?

It's free, no sign-up and no watermark. The card is made in your browser and downloads as a PNG, so it looks the same on every phone.
