    Getting there and parking

    • Lichfield City station is a few minutes' walk from Market Square.
    • Council car parks are free after 6pm from 24 November and the Friary multi-storey is free at weekends from 29 November (2025 offer, visitlichfield.co.uk); the LinkUp on-demand bus also serves the area.

    Worth knowing

    • The Christmas Fayre (2026: Sunday 15 November, 10am–4pm) is run by volunteers from Lichfield Chamber of Trade and Commerce, with stalls in the Guildhall, The Hub at St Mary's and outdoors around Market Square.
    • 2025 line-up: lights switch-on Sun 23 Nov in Market Square, Victorian Market Thu 4 – Sun 7 Dec with 100+ stalls, 'The Robin's Reward' cathedral light show 15–21 Dec, Carols Around the Tree 20 Dec at 3pm.
    • Dates for the 2026 Victorian Market and cathedral light show have not been announced; the 2025 weekend was the first Thursday-to-Sunday of December.
