What visitors say
About the Saturday market: one of the best-loved markets in the region — a huge range of crafts and food (wood-fired pizza, hāngī, fry bread), buskers and a lovely river setting, dog-friendly. Parking can be tricky, and not all stalls take cards; there's a free cash-out stall.
Whanganui's best Saturday morning, with Christmas on top — don't miss it if you're in town.
