Getting in and parking

• Enter only from Westwood Drive at Randol Mill Road. Every other street into the neighborhood is closed.
• From westbound I-30: Fielder Road exit, south to Randol Mill, right to Westwood.
• From eastbound I-30: Eastchase Parkway exit, south to Meadowbrook, left to Randol Mill, right to Westwood.
• Keep right the whole way — the left lane is kept open for emergency vehicles and residents.

Worth knowing

• The wait to get in is usually over an hour, and the loop itself takes about another hour.
• Be in line before 9 pm, and go on a weeknight if you can: weekends are the heaviest.

Getting in and parking

• The entrances off Legacy Drive have the longest lines. Try Bettye Haun Drive, Tweedsgate or Ivanhoe instead.
• Walking in? Park at the north end near Quincy, not on the streets cars are driving through.
• Don't block the alleys — residents need them — and don't stop in the road to get out.

Worth knowing

• Weeknights. Weekend lines can run for hours.
• There are no public restrooms in the neighborhood.
• Carriage rides (North Star Carriages) run Dec 1–30 except Christmas Day, 5:30–10:30 pm, and sell out — book early at dfwcarriages.com.

• Most people start at Armstrong Parkway and Preston Road and wind out from there.
• If you'd rather not drive it yourself, horse-drawn carriage and bus tours run through the neighborhood.
